What you'll need to start making money from your blog.
First, Create a gmail account. Go to Google.com and click on gmail and sign up for a new account. Second, create a Blogger Account. Go to Blogger.com and signup.
Start Blogging.
Blog about anything that your knowledgeable about or something that interests you...You'll be surprised how easy it is to start blogging. Don't forget to label your posts. Your readers can choose to read all of your posts on any given subject. Labels are important especially if you write about more than one subject.
Now What?
Once you have created a gmail account and a blogger account and you want to make a little extra moohla then setting up a Google AdSense account is the next step. Google AdSense displays ads that complement the information on your existing blog/website. You'll earn money when a visitor clicks and/or views ads on your page. Few things in life are free, but creating a blog and adding AdSense code costs zilch, zero, nada and that's a real plus in this economy.
AdSense Setup.
First, sign in with your gmail account. Then fill out the online application. You'll need to know your [url] website address, contact information, name, address, telephone number and you must agree to Google AdSense policies and then hit submit. That's all there is to it. AdSense will review your application and will either approve or deny your account. Either way they will notify you by email.
How to place Ads on your Blog
Blogger has made it extremely easy to setup ads on your blog. Sign in to blogger. View your blog and then click on customize located at the top of your blog. I think its actually called the blogger navigation bar. After you click on customize you will see a page which has a series of tabs across the top. They read from left to right, Posting, Settings, Layout and Monetize. Click the Monetize tab to start making money from your blog. It's that easy.
